A top scientist is murdered at a society event in Seattle. Police detective Frank Turner (Peter Facinelli) is assigned to the case but then removed when the Department of Defense steps in for unknown reasons. Turner and his partner Lisa Martinez (Sarah Deakins) next are assigned to protect biologist Maggie Dalton (Laura Regan) apparently the assassin’s next target because she worked with the dead man. But Lisa is the next to die. Turner gets Maggie to reveal that the killer is an invisible veteran soldier named Michael Griffin (Christian Slater) who submitted to an experiment conducted by the company for which Maggie used to work. The experiment succeeded in making Griffin invisible but it also produced horrible side effects from radiation damage. The head of the company is wealthy Dr. William Reisner (David McIlwraith) who is working with Col. Gavin Bishop (William McDonald) to hide all traces of the project. Reisner and Bishop need Maggie dead to keep her quiet while Griffin need her to give him a chemical buffer that will allow him to survive. Turner and Maggie have no recourse but to uncover the reasons behind Reisner’s pursuit while avoiding death.
