“Megamind” is the story of the world famous super villain, Megamind (Will Ferrell) who finally is able to defeat and kill his long time nemesis, Metro Man (Brad Pitt). However, Megamind soon learns that every good villain needs an even better good guy nemesis. He becomes bored and uses his own vast intellect to create a new good guy named Tighten (Jonah Hill). Tighten on the other hand has other ideas and sets out to show up Megamind and he becomes a new super villain. Now Megamind in order to hold onto his title of world famous super villain must do something good and stop Tighten, although Megamind learns the perks of being a good guy as he teams with Roxanne Ritchie (Tina Fey) and discovers the power of being the hero.

Nine Dead

A diabolical psychotic kidnaps nine people and holds them captive. Under the threat of being murdered, one by one, every ten minutes, the blindfolded and manacled victims are supposed to play a game of how are we all connected. Each person seems to represent a system gone awry, like the Jackson (William Lee Scott) who is a policeman, and an assistant from the District Attorney’s office named Kelley (Melissa Joan Hart). There is also a priest named Father Francis (Marc Macaulay) and a pedophile called Coogan (Lawrence Turner). As the victims are tormented and turn on each other, the sadistic game continues. Police Detective Seager (Daniel Baldwin) may show up in time to sort out the carnage.

Accusations of witchcraft, increasing tensions between the settlers and the Alqonquin tribe, and betrayal explode in a final, violent conclusion.

Along the way, Kaufmann's commitment to avant garde humor make him tough to cast and tougher to control, while off-screen he and his female companion Lynne Margulies (Courtney Love) fall in and out of their relationship. By the end, as Kaufmann battles the cancer that would eventually take his life, questions of honesty, showmanship, and sticking with a joke when no one else gets it all come back onto Andy and his circle.

However, as Will begins researching things to prove his father wrong, he finds more and more truth than he ever expected.
