The Kumagai crime organization, confronted by new trends facing Japan, feels that the Yakuza is being edged out of modern society. Divided by loyalties to his mother and to his new "family," Naoki will have to choose between the light and the dark.

Veronica herself finds herself in a strange situation when she is struck by lightning and begins to grow older. Dominic's fascination with Veronica grows even more when she begins speaking dead languages, which interests him very much as a professor of linguistics.

This woman claiming to be Lisa turns out to be an actress named Alex. Luke is dating Alex, unbeknownst to Matthew. Alex turns out to have been Lisa's roommate and has been obsessed with Matthew. In the end, Matthew and Lisa meet up in a restaurant and hug and kiss.

So she arranges a meeting with a pleasant seeming man named Paul and meets him at the food court in the mall. But when she goes to Paul's house, a trio of hoodlums attack Paul, shouting that he owes them $500,000.

It’s a fiendish scheme that an FBI cyber-crime agent, Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane), and her partner, Griffin Dowd (Colin Hanks), must unravel. A local cop Eric Box (Billy Burke) too joins them to assist them, but the cunning villain has made his website untraceable. Indeed, any attempt to crack it gives the killer the name and location of the investigators, who instantly find themselves on the killing list. While Marsh is trying her best to trace the killer, she is forced to do all she can when she comes to know that the next victim could be her mother Stella Marsh (Mary Beth Hurt) or daughter Annie Haskins (Perla Haney-Jardine). Now begins a deadly chase to trace and catch this serial killer, who was till now, untraceable.

The Golden Compass is a wonderfully beautiful film in the theme of Narnia and Lord of the Rings. It tells the tale of a young orphan girl, Lyra (Dakota Blue Richards) who lives in an alternate universe where people's souls exist outside of their bodies in the form of some animal, called Deamons. Lyra, with the help of her shape-changing deamon, Pantalaimon, uncovers a tale of a magical substance called Dust, meets a beautiful mysterious woman (Nicole Kidman), and vows to save her friend Roger from the child napping Gobblers. Her quest leads her into the wild frozen north where she meets armored polar bears, slow-talking cowboys, witches and gypsies. It's a feast for the eyes and an excellent tale.

The Final Season

The team has a legacy of success, having won nineteen state championships over the past few decades. However, the school is shutting down and merging with other rural schools, and the team’s longtime coach, Jim Van Poyoc (Powers Booth), is forced out of his job. Stock, his assistant, takes over the reins of the disheartened team and leads them on a quest for a twentieth and last championship. In the process, he brings the entire town of Norway together to rally against the school merger and show Polly Hudson (Rachael Leigh Cook), the state attorney lobbying for the merger, the qualities of small town America that should not be tossed aside.

The Deaths Of Ian Stone

The Counterfeiters

Salomon “Sally” Sorowitsch (Karl Markovics) is a successful forger, mainly dabbling in laundered money and falsified currency. He lives in Nazi Germany during WWII, and is arrested and imprisoned in a hard labor camp, and then a concentration camp. In an act of self-preservation, he uses his artistic skills once reserved for forgery to paint portraits of the guards and their families. Salomon becomes very well-known for his art, and eventually he is transferred to a new camp reserved for prisoners with special skills. His fellow detainees have backgrounds in bank managing art, and printing, and the Nazis have assigned them to the task of counterfeiting money to be used to fund the war. Although he is relieved to have found a way to protect himself, he begins to worry about the war they are perpetuating, especially after his co-counterfeiters decide they do not want to support the German war effort and plan to sabotage the operation.

The Cottage

In the first half of "The Cottage" two brothers, David (Andy Serkis) and Peter (Reece Shearsmith) set out to kidnap a Mafioso’s beautiful young daughter. David is more of the mastermind of the operation, while his brother is kind of a scaredy-cat tagalong who needs constant reassurance their plan will go off without a hitch. The kingpin's daughter, Tracey (Jennifer Ellison) is a tough blonde fireball of raw anger at the prospect of being a kidnapping victim and fights them tooth and nail. The second half of the movie is set in a nearby deep, dark forest where they lose their way and stumble upon a dilapidated cottage. Little do they know that the dweller of this humble abode is a viscous murderer. The killer looks like he himself has been the victim of some heavy slashing as his face is sickeningly disfigured. It seems this monster is hiding away from society. When the two brothers and their captive wander into his little corner of the world, the horror begins, as they find themselves fighting for their very lives.

The Cook

While the rest of their friends are vacationing in the Baja California peninsula over Thanksgiving break, a group of sorority sisters decide to stay home and chill instead. Their regular cook has gone home for Thanksgiving and the girls get a Hungarian chef (Mark Hengst) as replacement. These sorority babes engage in a lot of raunchy talk and like to sit around getting drunk and taking their shirts off. There is some drug use as well, and a couple of them have sex together. The cook sees an opportunity to whip up some very unusual meals for these girls, isolated on campus as they are and unaware that he has a taste for murder. One by one, each girl disappears. At first, the others don't think much of it because due to all the heavy drinking they could just be sleeping it off. Their temporary cook serves them courses during the evening, which win ooooohs and aaaaahs from the tasters. Little do they know they are ingesting their own friends!

The Children Of Huang Shi

Along the way he meets a beautiful Australian nurse named Lee Pearson (Radha Mitchell) and the two begin courting. One day they encounter a bombed out orphanage with nearly sixty children still alive in it, and they decide courageously to lead the children to safety. The journey to rescue is extremely hard and perilous though, as they must transverse nearly a thousand miles of mountainous terrain all while being pursued by Japanese forces who will kill them all if they are caught.

The Champ

Putting aside the horse track gambling and drinking Billy trains hard, but Annie (Faye Dunaway), TJ's mother, shows up at this time demanding custody of the boy. The emotions of fighting in the ring and in the courtroom begin to take their toll on Billy, but TJ is steadfast in his love for his father despite all the troubles.

The Bucket List

Soon after they meet they both realize that there are things they have wanted, but failed to do sometime during their lives. They write a 'bucket list', so named from the idiomatic phrase of uncertain origin 'kick the bucket' which means 'to die'. Their list includes things which are expensive, risky or both such as tandem skydiving. They realize that nothing on their list can be accomplished waiting around a cancer ward for the next torture (treatment) session therefore they escape, set out to do their list and comedy as well as friendship ensues.

The Bodyguard

Rachel 'Rach' Marron (Whitney Houston) is a pop star with a less than adoring fan. Marron's manager hires ex-Secret Service Agent, Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) to be Marron's bodyguard. Although reluctant, the cash is what initially lures Farmer to the job. Farmer's intense style does not endear him to Marron or her staff. However, Farmer grows on Marron and after one thing leads to another, they begin to have an affair. When Marron and Farmer's relationship starts to get in the way of Farmer's job, he ends the affair. Marron's crazed fan strikes close-to-home and she and her staff begin to realize that Farmer's insistence on strong precautions was necessary for the protection of the pop star and her son.
