The Cottage

In the first half of "The Cottage" two brothers, David (Andy Serkis) and Peter (Reece Shearsmith) set out to kidnap a Mafioso’s beautiful young daughter. David is more of the mastermind of the operation, while his brother is kind of a scaredy-cat tagalong who needs constant reassurance their plan will go off without a hitch. The kingpin's daughter, Tracey (Jennifer Ellison) is a tough blonde fireball of raw anger at the prospect of being a kidnapping victim and fights them tooth and nail. The second half of the movie is set in a nearby deep, dark forest where they lose their way and stumble upon a dilapidated cottage. Little do they know that the dweller of this humble abode is a viscous murderer. The killer looks like he himself has been the victim of some heavy slashing as his face is sickeningly disfigured. It seems this monster is hiding away from society. When the two brothers and their captive wander into his little corner of the world, the horror begins, as they find themselves fighting for their very lives.
