Rob and Pia, husband and wife, find themselves in an unlikely scenario during a boating trip when they end up in a desolate swamp in a creepy forest. The storm demolishes their vessel, and they end up desperately searching for assistance in their new, dark locale. After searching they happen upon an abandoned, frightening home and empty barn - but it is clear it wasn't long ago that it was inhabited. The home has no telephone, no Internet and essentially no way to get help. When the owner returns, the sadistic creep enslaves the couple. Poppy, the intruder, forces his hostages to humiliate and hurt themselves. The couple quickly learns they aren't getting out of here alive, certainly not any time soon, and they find themselves willing to enter uncharted territory to get out - any way they can.
