Mason (Joel David Moore) is a reclusive telemarketer whose social life has been reduced to the people near his cubicle, which pretty much consist of his awkward interactions with his pompous boss. When he’s alone, he’s an artist. A new girl, Amber (Amber Tamblyn) starts working at the office where Mason works. She’s on a journey to find herself, and she begins to find Mason along the way. They become good friends, and Amber discovers Mason’s talent for painting. She agrees to pose for a few portraits, but the final pieces strangely resemble a series of portraits of a waitress that he recently removed from his studio. When Amber investigates the strange coincidence, she unleashes Mason’s dark secrets and they begin to spiral out of control.
