Nate Cooper (Joel David Moore) is unlucky with the ladies. He can't seem to get over Cristabel Abbott (Paris Hilton), who was his childhood crush. Nate finally heads to California with a determination to find Cristabel. Meeting up with his friend Arno Blount (Greg Wilson) he discovers that his mother Mrs. Blount (Marianne Muellerleile) seems to know things about Cristabel. Soon he meets her again and discovers that the only obstacle to her affections is that her homely friend June Phigg (Christine Lakin) is constantly by her side, and Cristabel is determined not to go out unless June has a date as well. Nate is determined to help June get a date so that he can get together with Cristabel, but he soon sees that Cristabel might not be the one he was looking for after all.
