Sarah (Jaime King), her husband, Jason (Terry Chen), and their young son, Sammy (Regan Oey), return to North America after living in Shanghai for several years. They have returned for a family funeral. Sammy swears that he can see ghosts and then falls seriously ill. The strangeness continues. Traditional western medicine does nothing for him. A mysterious pharmacist (Henry O) says that the death grip of a living corpse has Sammy under his spell. To save her child before the last day of Ghost Month Sarah must hurry to discover what the ghost wants, before the sun rises or she’ll lose her child.
