“Richie Rich” is the ageless story of the world’s most wealthiest child, Richie Rich (Macaulay Culkin). Richie has it all from toys to computers and anything else that money can buy but he lacks one important thing, friends. Richie encounters a group of kids one day who he so desperately wants to be a part of but they don’t want him around. Richie struggles to gain the acceptance of his new found friends while also dealing with the disappearance of his parents; Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Regina Rich (Christine Ebersole) at the hands of Laurence Van Dough (John Larroquette). Richie assumes control of his parent’s company in their absence and together with Cadbury (Jonathan Hyde), his faithful butler and his new group of friends must uncover what has become of his parents before Van Dough can assume control of the Rich fortune.
