“Monsters” is the story of the world’s quest for alien life and the results of such explorations. When a deep space probe collects alien DNA and crashes upon reentry, half of New Mexico becomes infected with an alien strange of DNA causing new life to evolve. Now New Mexico is cut off from the rest of the country as an infected zone. Six years later Andrew Kaulder (Scoot McNairy) a photo journalist is hired to retrieve a wealthy tycoon’s daughter, Samantha Wynden (Whitney Able) and bring her home! The two now have to navigate through the infected region avoiding all manner of new horrors.
