This movie starts with Joseph (Yorgo Voyagis) and Mary (Olivia Hussey) learning that Mary will bear a son named Jesus. It then follows there travels and and the birth of Jesus. It follows Jesus as he grows up and picks his disciples and starts to preach to the people he meets, and performs miracles. One of the most unique aspects of the movie is that the character of Jesus never blinks, giving the impression that Jesus is indeed divine. Though mostly taken directly from the gospels, the movie does add some scenes not in the Bible, most notable in it's depiction of Judas. The movie becomes very powerful as it follows Jesus in his last days before the crucifixion.
