Arthur (Freddie Highmore) is very excited because tonight is going to be the decimal cycle of the Moon and he can, finally, regress to the Minimeus' Land and meet with Princess Selenia. In the village, the Minimeus prepare a huge banquet in his honor and the young princess wears her dress with rose petals. But Arthur's father (Robert Stanton) chooses this important day to announce the end of vacations at Grandmother's (Mia Farrow) house. While they make themselves ready to come back, a spider deposits a grain of rice with the monogram S.O.S., meaning that Selenia is in danger. It is up to Arthur to save the day.
