Banlieue 13 Ultimatum

Paris is a divided city, with over a million residents living in squalor in a walled slum, the 13th district. Among them are five gangs, and moving between those gangs, and stirring things up in general, is likeable rogue Leito (David Belle). One day Leito finds himself in more trouble than usual when he is given a copy of explosive footage implicating a special forces unit in staging gang violence, at the same time he gets a desperate phone call from his decorated copy pal Damien (Cyril Raffaelli), framed that very day by the same corrupt cops. Leito needs to break Damien out of prison so they can figure out why the police, led by the corrupt Walter Gassman (Daniel Duval), is working so hard to get the slum evacuated and demolished by the president (Philippe Torreton). The duo must get the evidence in front of the president before he orders the neighborhood destroyed, but they won't be able to do it without the cooperation of, and significant help from, members of all the district's gangs.
