On one particularly eerie Halloween, five stories interweave themselves, all on the same city block. A suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight, four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival, a group of pranksters take their jokes too far and discover a horrifying local secret, and a crabby old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with more than just candy on his mind. The tricks and treats of Halloween may prove deadly for some or all of these people. Who will survive, and who will succumb to the horrors of this haunted, spooky holiday?
