Reporter Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson) is working for a fashion magazine and dreams of writing articles about politically important topics instead of being only the How to...-girl. And there is Ben Barry (Matthew McConaughey), an advertising expert who actually tries to make her fall in love with him within ten days, while she bets to get rid of him within ten days to write an article about it concerning all the things woman do wrong in a relationship. During these days, no matter how much she totures him,he still tries to get her. And it all ends during an advertising presentation where things get a lot worse.
