When his wife leaves him, Jay (Mark Rylance) barely misses her but he does yearn for his young sons. Working nights allows little time for socializing so he finds himself in a rather unlikely sexual situation in which he and Claire (Kerry Fox) have sex on a weekly basis. That is all they do. They seldom speak and certainly share nothing about each other’s lives. This works well for a time. One day Jay decides that he just might be falling in love with Claire. Now that he has faced this realization he becomes obsessed with learning more about her. Will he like what he discovers or will this be the end of their intimacy?
