Two brothers are completely opposite in nature. Paul (Romain Duris) is the elder brother whom his girlfriend Anna (Joana Preiss) has just left. He is devastated and moves back with his father (Guy Marchand) in Paris. His younger brother Jonathan (Louis Garrel), who is a student, also lives with his father. Jonathan is a womanizer and spends most of his time fooling around. However, it is found later that Jonathan has been trying to cover the hurt over the death of his sister whom he loved a lot. In the meanwhile Paul goes into depression. Paul’s depression seems to be reducing when their mother (Marie-France Pisier) turns up though the relationships grow more complicated.
