The Sharks and the Jets arrive at Camp Spirit Thunder. They are competing against each other and against teams from rival Camp Victory to win the "Cheer Camp Nationals." The Sharks captain, Carson (Ashley Benson) and the Jets captain, Brooke (Cassie Scerbo) are bitter rivals. As the competition mounts, Carson meets and falls for Penn (Michael Copon), not realizing he is a member of the Jets. Brooke realizes what is happening and tried to interfere in the budding romance. Many confrontations, arguments and accusations ensue. This results in a "Cheer Rumble" between the two teams and ends with many members of both teams injured and neither team having enough members to compete in the Nationals. Eventually, the remaining members of both teams learn to set aside their differences and compete together as one mixed team against Camp Victory.
