Brothers Solomon

John (Will Arnett) and Dean (Will Forte) Solomon are two single brothers who have been raised by their father in the Arctic isolated from the rest of society. As a result their social skills are non-existent, which reflects negatively on their attempts at finding a partner. When their father suffers a stroke, his last words before slipping into a coma are: “I wish I could have seen my grandchildren.” The brothers, who love him more than everything else, decide to fulfill his wish. However, their renewed efforts at finding a partner are even more fruitless than before, and so they decide to look for a woman willing to have their child on the Internet. They are contacted by Janine (Kristen Wiig), who offers to carry their child for money. They accept and so Janine becomes pregnant through artificial insemination but, as the pregnancy advances, she realized that the brothers are as unsuitable as parents as they are as partners. She then gives them an ultimatum: “Learn how to be good parents or I will keep the child!” Seeing their fruitless and rather absurd attempts at acquiring parenting skills, Janine decides to keep the baby and moves to an undisclosed location. She is later so moved by their rocambolesque attempt at locating her that she changes her mind and lets them have the baby. Upon being presented with his grandchild their father wakes from the coma and is happily reunited with his family.
