Kelly (Lorraine Stanley) is a middle-aged prostitute who finds herself in a dangerous dilemma when she becomes a murderer. During a beating from Duncan Allen (Alexander Morton), she fights back and kills him. Duncan’s son Stuart (Sam Spruell) finds his father and wants someone to answer for the murder. Kelly’s pimp, Derek (Johnny Harris), who will have to answer to Stuart if he can’t find Kelly, goes on a manhunt to bring her back and giver her up as the murderer. Kelly takes on eleven year old runaway Joanne (Georgia Groome) in an attempted escape from London to Brighton, using all their wits just to stay alive.
