Francois Coste (Daniel Auteuil) who is an egoistic antique dealer, feels challenged and is determined to prove his business partner named Catherine (Julie Gayet) that he does have a best friend. Catherine believes that Francois does not have a best friend which then drives him to find someone who can be his best friend. Fortunately, Francois meets with a taxi driver named Bruno Bouley (Dany Boon) who happens to be competing for a Master Mind title in a knowledge competition. He then ask Bruno to teach him the secret of friendship. As the story unfolds, Francois later finds out that Bruno is truly a special person who displays an unconditional friendship unlike anyone he has known.
