High school shenanigans take a backseat to deep-rooted social problems at St. Donovan’s Catholic High School where Principal Kirkpatrick (Bruce Willis) has his hands full. Once an Operation Desert Storm hero, Kirkpatrick is now in a bigger fight. But, budding muckraker and sophomore writer on the school paper, Bobby Funke (Reece Thompson) has a sense of moral rectitude, but when he starts to write about class president Paul Moore (Patrick Taylor), he discovers a cancer on the presidency. A great conspiracy lurks underneath the public images when the important SAT materials are compromised. When beautiful student Francesca Fachini (Mischa Barton) takes an interest in Funke, there may be more at work than a date to the prom. St. Donovan’s High may be a hotbed of criminal activity.
