Jason “Jinx” Taylor (Nick Stahl) goes about his life in a pretty carefree manner. Many indeed would call him a slacker or an underachiever. When Jinx is caught in the middle of a bank heist, he along with an unsatisfied bank employee, Jessica (Erika Christensen) must rise to the occasion and mediate negations between the bank robbers and the police as to ensure the safety of the innocent bystanders involved in the heist. Fate has altered the course of their lives through their presence at the bank during the robbery, now each must embrace their own abilities and talents, and break the laziness and monotony of daily life to preserve the delicate balance between control and chaos.
