Wes Wilson (Christian Slater) is a best selling author who has written many successful book. His most popular, a self-help book, has saved millions of relationships on the brink of a break-up. Wes' world is completely turned upside down when his fiance is abducted and thought to be dead. Even more frightening is the day that Isaac (Cuba Gooding Jr.) shows up at his door and insists that he come along for a ride like none he has ever experienced. Wes is suddenly shown a world of violence, espionage, and smuggled diamonds. What does this world have to do with his life, and will he find any answers in the disappearance of his fiance?
