Peter (James Caviezel) and Carla (Claudia Karvan)'s marriage has hit a serious rough patch. In a desperate attempt to save their struggling marriage, they head to the secluded area of Moondah Beach for some time together. After getting lost and spending a night sleeping in their car, the couple eventually finds their desired location and begins to set up camp. As they are settling in, Peter disturbs nature by using his rifle, among other actions. Soon, it seems, nature begins fighting back against their bad actions. Will they be able to right their wrongs, and will they be able to get out of this adventure alive?
