The small village of Little Tall Island off of the coast of Maine is experiencing one of the biggest snow storms in years. People are in fear because they are cut off from the rest of the outside world, and noone knows how long they will have to endure this weather. When Andre Linoge (Colm Feore) comes to town, this fear is increased even more. Andre knows pretty much everything about everybody. It seems unreal. Mike Anderson (Tim Daly), the town's constable, is trying to keep everybody calm, but when people are starting to commit suicide and murder, the villagers are left with one question: What does Andre Linoge want?
