This movie is set in the late 1950’s. A teenager named David (Daniel Manche) follows the sad tale of his neighbor, a girl named Megan (Blythe Auffarth). Megan is a delightful girl whose parents are killed in a car crash. She and her younger sister Susan (Madeline Taylor) are adopted by their aunt Ruth (Blanche Baker). Ruth lives with her three sons. She has no husband. Ruth is an alcoholic and begins to abuse the two girls. She allows her sons to join her in abusing the girls. Megan’s calls for help go by unnoticed. The abuse worsens to physical torture and sexual abuse as neighborhood children join in.
