Suburban Girl stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Brett Eisenberg, a junior New York book editor who is struggling to make her way up the corporate ladder. She meets Archie Knox (Alec Baldwin) who is known for his trysts with younger women. He's charming and pays attention to her but he's got a history too. With ex-wives, a daughter, and even a photo album of ex girlfriends. But Brett decides not to play it safe and gets involved with Archie anyway, and moves in with him. Archie introduces her to the elite world of New York literati, and she unfortunately falls in love with him. It's definitely no fairy tale though, as family issues intervene, and soon Brett finds she has some hard decisions to make.
