Alex (François Cluzet) lives a happy life with his wife Margot (Marie-Josée Croze). After a romantic swim in a lake his life is shattered. His wife is murdered. Eight years after the murder the pediatrician Alex is still mourning until he gets a anonymous mail with a video in which he recognizes his wife Margot. The police finds two additional bodies on the murder scene. One of them was Margot’s best friend. When the murder weapon is found in Alex’s apartment the game of deception, lies and danger begins. With the help of a patients father Bruno (Gilles Lellouche) Alexe runs away and hides in the suburb. He gets another message from Margot with an appointment in the Monceau park. Will his wife show up?
