It was the America of the early 1960s, and the arrival of four lads from Liverpool turned the nation upside down. This film takes us behind the scenes as the Beatles land in the US and soon find themselves in the middle of a pop culture frenzy unlike anything before or since. Pursued by hordes of shrieking teenage fans, patronized by the media, constantly in motion and under enormous stress, the young John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were somehow able to remain charming and seemingly carefree despite it all. This film also features some of their historic first performances in the US.
