Richard Starkey (Ringo Starr) and his widowed Aunt Jessie (Jessie Robins) are on a tour bus through the countryside. They are riding with a variety of interesting characters on the bus including Miss Wendy Winters (Mandy Weet) the tour hostess, Jolly Jimmy Johnson (Derek Royle) the tour director, and Buster Bloodvessel (Ivor Cutler) the conductor. All of the members of the Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr) play a strange group of magicians who, along with a fifth magician (Mal Evans), cause odd things to happen to the group. The tour group also does some strange things such as races involving the various members of the group.
