Jason Vorhees (Derek Mears) is killing again on the shores of Crystal Lake! Terrifying mass murderer holds captive young Whitney (Amanda Righetti), the sole survivor from a massacre that happened six weeks ago, and her athletic brother Clay (Jared Padalecki) is desperately searching for her in the dark woods surrounding the lake. In the camp he meets a group of newly arrived students, who came to the lake to relax and party, and know nothing of a horror that had befallen previous visitors. They are all soon to find out that the prying eyes of the killer under hockey mask will not rest until they are all dead. The struggle for survival begins...
