Fresh from college, young Alex is on his way through the Australian outback to meet up with his girlfriend... and the following romantic holiday. However, he bumps into an American lad named Taylor first, who convinces him to take him along for the ride. After meeting up with Alex's girl, a strange event places doubt on who Taylor really is, having observed cryptic anger about "what he did in Thailand" as well as being called "Jamie" by a strange girl at a bar. Eventually, Taylor manipulates things so Alex and his girl are on unsteady ground... in his favor, of course.
