What young boys can’t resist an adventure? For 10-year-olds Luis (Omar Munoz) and Teo (Santiago Pasaglia) the chance to visit a forbidden and deserted town set to be flooded by waters when a dam is built, is too big of a draw. The town of Marienbad will be flooded once the Desbaria Dam is completed. They sneak into the town and get caught up in boy’s play. Upon entering an eerily empty church, they hear voices. Rushing to the basement, the boys are surprised to find people chained to the walls. Teo struggles to release the apparent leader of the group Mordecai Salas (Patrick Gordon). Unfortunately, this act of kindness is Teo’s last as Mordecai kills him. Luis flees, barely escaping his death. Forty years later, the people gather to celebrate the anniversary of the Desbaria Dam and the truth behind the followers of Mordecai Salas is about to come out.
