A writer named Tsui Ting-Yin (Angelica Lee) has no inspiration but a lot of trouble writing her next horror novel, which she wants to call “Re-Cycle.” She has already written three other books which were successful and made into films, but they were love stories that were drawn from her own life. While she labors at the new book, some strange things happen in her dwelling. Also, her old boyfriend from eight years in the past comes to see her, having gotten divorced, and proposes to her. Then Tsui sees a character from her book that has long hair and is supernatural in origin. She follows the character and gets stuck in his terrible realm.
