Shaolin Soccer

Fung (Man Tat Ng) used to be a great soccer player but missed a goal in a crucial match and his team mate Hung (Yin Tse) ensures that Fung’s leg is broken by the fans. Fung goes to live his life of disgrace in hiding. Sing (Stephen Chow), a Shaolin monk finds him and teams up with him to popularize Shaolin Kung fu. Sing convinces him to train a soccer team of monks to compete for a coveted prize. Their opponent is Team Evil which has been winning the prize every year, coached by Hung. To defeat this formidable opponent, Fung pushes the Shaolin monks hard in their training in a hilarious sequence of episodes. The story culminates in a breath-taking soccer championship game.
