Two couples whose relationships with each other are failing participate in some unorthodox ‘therapy’ to rekindle their love for each other. James (Macaulay Culkin) and Heather’s (Alexis Dziena) relationship is failing because of Heather’s overbearing control issues and take-charge stance. James discovers that he’s easily manipulated, and realizes that he has to do something about his relationship with Heather. Ellis (Kuno Becker) and Renee (Eliza Dushku) have lost the spark they had when they met. The two are loyal and honest with each other, but lately Renee has been isolated and bored with Ellis, and he sometimes comes off as brash. They fear that it’s the beginning of the end. Dr. Wellbridge (Joanna Miles) suggests a little experiment- a partner swap that excites some but disenchants others, and teaches them that love might be something more.
