Amy (Christine Taylor) is a schoolteacher who is involved in a vehicle accident with her boyfriend Nick (Shane Brolley). Both survive, but her boyfriend is taken to the hospital for injuries. Lucas (Jerry O'Connell) was the driver of the other car whose sister was also taken to the hospital for injuries. Amy tries to go to the hospital to find Nick, but finds out he wasn't there, nor did any of the other hospitals have any records. At this point she meets up with Lucas who is looking for his missing sister as well. Teaming up, they begin a hunt for the missing people. Amy starts receiving psychic messages and visions from spirits only she can see, and her quest takes her and Lucas to a hospital that no longer exists due to a fire years ago that destroyed the place. Complete with blood orgies, demons, and the like you are left with a sinister plot which leaves you guess whether its all a dream, or a twisted truth.
