When Max Fleming (James Roday) creates an amazing new machine for cloning purposes, his mentor, the egotistical Dr. Jonas (Eugene Levy), steals all the credit. As Max toils on in obscurity while Dr. Jonas receives accolades for Max's work, Kate Carson (Ali Landry) enters the picture. Kate is a reporter researching the cloning technology, and she is accidentally cloned when some of her blood contaminates the cloning samples. With this new Kate, dubbed Repli-Kate, Max and his friend Henry (Desmond Askew) think that they have the perfect woman as she is beautiful like Kate but knows nothing. As they set out to educate her on how to be the perfect woman, Dr. Jonas learns what has transpired and will stop at nothing to get Repli-Kate and the original Kate to further his interests in the cloning technology.
