When reporter Sadie Blake (Lucy Liu) awakens in the morgue it dawns on her that something has gone seriously awry. Discovering she is now among the realm of the undead, Blake seeks revenge on the gang of bloodsuckers that attacked her, left her for dead and damned her to eternal darkness. The classic battle of good versus evil is the central theme in this supernatural horror flick where Blake must draw upon all of the wit, physical strength, and feminine wiles at her disposal if she is to triumph. When Blake goes head to head against the king-pin vampire, Bishop (James D'Arcy), a furious battle ensues. Blake is aided by grieving detective, Clyde Rawlins (Michael Chiklis), whose own daughter suffered at the hands of the vicious vampire gang.
